Roger Weinreich began his artistic career at a young age.
He first apprenticed to his mother, a talented stone sculptor, when he was ten-years-old. Roger enjoyed putting on goggles after school and chipping away at his mother Bobbe's marble sculptures. She guided him as an artist and provided instruction in the use and care of tools.
"My sculpture is intended to inspire and delight me.
If it makes me smile and I am having fun carving,
then I'm headed in the right direction!"
Roger carves in wood and still uses his mother's chisels.
He creates bronze castings of his sculptures and resides
in Maine & New Hampshire.
